Marina bay sands skypark

The Marina Bay Sands SkyPark is a large wooden deck area which is located on top of the Marina Bay Sands hotel. It is situated in the edge of city's harbor with an awesome 360degree panoramic view offering the visitors with the taste of Singapore's highlife from above the building. There is nothing between the visitor and the scenic view other than a sheet of glass and few wires that makes anyone mesmerized by its beauty.

Marina Bay Sands SkyPark is one of the major tourist attractions in Singapore and is opened for a decade now to the visitors. the entrance fee for the adults start at S$23 whereas the rates are available at discount for the children and senior citizens. It is open for the visitors from 09.30 AM to 10.00 PM on weekdays and until 11.00 PM on weekends.

Jurong Bird Park

Jurong Bird Park is one of the major tourist attractions in Sngapore which is managed by the Wildlife Reserves Singapore. This landscape park is built on the western slopes of the Jurong Hill in the Jurong District with an area of 50 acres. The park is comprised of various exhibits for entertaining the visitors such as African Waterfall Aviary, Dinosaur Descendants, Southeast Asian Birds Aviary, Lory Loft, Penguin Coast, World of Darkness, Pelican Cove along with the entertainment shows like High Flyers Show, Kings of the Skies Show and Lunch with the Parrots.

The Jurong bird park can be easily accessed from Boon Lay Bus Interchange by boarding on SBS Transit Service 194 or 251. It also has the connections to the Mass Rapid Transit at Boon Lay MRT station. Gardens by the bay

As the name itself suggests, Gardens by the Bay is a one of a large, colorful and an innovative park situated in the bay area of Singapore. It is built with the famous Supertree structure that provides an attractive skywalk over the gardens while the seashell-shaped greenhouses are recreating a chilly mountain climate. The garden is filled with hundreds of trees and plants to discover and this is a great destination place that would be a lot fun for everyone irrespective of their age.

This park is created with a reclaimed land area of 101 hectares which is adjacent to the Marina Reservoir. Consisting of three water front gardens Bay South Garden, Bay East Garden and Bay Central Garden, the largest amongst the three is Bay South Garden with a land area of 54 hectares. It is a project started by the Singapore Government to enhance the quality of life with flora in the city. It is open for visitors from 9.00 AM to 9.00 PM.

The merlion

The Merlion is considered to be a traditional creature that is sculptured with a lion head and a body of fish. It is not just a statue but more of a mythical symbol and a national personification of Singapore. It is a place that should be written on the "must see" list of every traveller it has some incredible views in this place. This 70-tonne water spouting Merlion is a major attraction for tourists where they can have a relaxed time by looking over the great views of Singapore across the water to Marina Bay Sands.

There are five Merlion statues that are located in five different places that are a replca of the original statue. The original statue was installed on 15 September 1972 by the then-Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew.
